SEED trainings in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County

On behalf of the Municipality of Sárospatak, in the framework of the program TOP-5.1.2-15-BO1-2016-00005, under the title „“Establishing Local Employment Cooperation with Sárospatak Center”, the SEED Foundation organizes trainings for increasing basic entrepreneurial skills of local producers and service providers.

The trainers of SEED Foundation - from 11 January to March 3, 2019 – have already held as well as will hold competency development trainings in three Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county locations - Sárospatak, Boldogkőváralja and Hercegkút, under the title „Entrepreneurship Information, Activities, and Learning”.

By location 15 entrepreneurs and people being interested in starting a business participate in the trainings. As a result of the training, participants will develop a business plan for their own businesses using the "business model canvas" methodology, which will be also presented at the end of the training.

Sárospatak has attracted entrepreneurs from a wide range of sectors, enterprises being interested especially in rural tourism have indicated their interest in Boldogkőváralja, while in Hercegkút mainly winemakers appeared.

“It was a great experience to work together with entrepreneurs of Sárospatak: it was a pleasure to experience their openness, creativity and their will to act. It was felt that their entrepreneurial ideas, their already acquired experiences, were willingly supplemented with new knowledge. Through communication practices, they were able to see their own day-to-day operations, which they could use later in their entrepreneurial life. They could observe themselves in different conflict management practices and in development of cooperation, moreover they have been given a brief for an effective business introduction.
