Italian method to be adapted in Hungary by SEED

Italian guidance can make the vocational orientation of young people interested in agricultural field easier. The successful vocational guidance is to be adapted by the SEED Foundation in Hungary. Experts of the European Union are going to held their next meeting in Budapest.

Experts from Lithuania, Spain, Italy, Romania and Hungary took part at an international meeting that was held in order to develop a vocational guidance in the agricultural field for education and vocational system. The speciality of the Demetrae project is to make the process of guidance more practical by integrating gender specific elements.

Attendants of DEMETRAE (GenDer GuidancE to enhance and support woMEn choices in the AgriculTuRAl field pathways and tools for Education and Vocational systems) met in Murcia in May for the second time.

The Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Lithuanian and Hungarian partners have presented the Spanish audiance their recent results of the national vocational reports.Then participants got familiar with the methodology and goals of the ARGONOMA Model, the Italian agricultural career guidance counseling, in order to make all partners follow this efficient practice in their own countries adopting to their own specialities. In the coming section of the project the Professional Focus Group of SEED will investigate the methodological and practical conditions of the adaptability of the model. The next international meeting will be held in Budapest 22-23 November 2012.
